Hey y'all, Gale here!

There's always this awkward sensation when it comes to introduction don't you think? Makes me remember those first days at school when we will be called on to stand in front of the class and introduce ourselves. That sensation of needing to find the right words to say because well — first impression lasts.

I think this is one of the things I've learned as I journey through life —that I can grasp more freedom and confidence the moment I embrace the simplicity of being me.

I'm Barbara Gale Araniego and Gege is the nickname my Inay Letty gave me when I was a kid. I love the childlike sound of it as it always gives me the grounding feeling whenever I put myself out there as I navigate through adult life. I have a passion for writing, I may be a work in progress on this field but I love how it creates a connection —mind, body, and soul.
