You just simply adore hearing your full name called when she is pissed off. That's 19 freaking letters man!

Perks of being 20-something and still living with your Mom.

1. You'll arrive home from a very tiring day and "tah-dah" table's set, dinner is ready and the most awesome thing is every food she prepared are your favorites. (Not to mention you eat everything).

2. You can get a chance to cook for her too, even if that means just plain rice and fried chicken. (Cheers to my culinary skills).

3. You can sneak into her bedroom when you want to cuddle and yeah, hear her "lullaby-kind-of-snore" and feel blessed because you spent like 10 long years without getting this close. Thank you Lord for this chance.

4. Falling asleep in her room and wake up in the morning with the "Moooo" sound from her iPad because, wellshe's playing Farmville. Now that's an alternative with the usual rooster crowing in the morning. Hahaha :D

5. Sometimes, when my schedule permits I can fold her clothes, put them in her closet, and whisper "darn it, how can she survived with these few clothes? I need to take her and do some shopping". (Main reason why I rarely do this stuff, I feel guilty about my excessive addiction to shopping. Girls logic!).

6. Since she owns few clothes for herself, she loves maybe using some of my stuff and be like; "do I look too girly with your clothes on? And I was like; Mom my girly clothes look hot on you. How the heck can be that possible? And she'll yell at me sayingBIAS. :D

7. You can actually practice your "it's-suppose-to-be-a-body-massage-turns-like-a-simple-caress" and she won't mind. Because she loves receiving affection even if she won't admit it. Of course, she won't.

8. You can sweetly tease her first try on baking muffins because it's hard as a pebble, and still eat those even if that means risking losing your teeth (kidding) because you have to uplift her spirit so she'll try doing it again and praying she'll do better the next time. (Although you know she will).

9. You will never worry about your pets going to die of starvation or feel guilty of negligence because they are practically spoiled by her.

10. You just simply adore hearing your full name called when she is pissed off. That's 19 freaking letters man!

11. When you're on "Im-feeling-introvert-now-and-I-don't-want-to-be-disturb" kind of moment and she will enter your room with a cup of hot tea and whisper something like, "Gege, don't get drowned by your thoughts". And I was like, "Geez Mom, you're an alien too".

12. When you're independent paying your own bills but sometimes there are too many holidays in a month and maybe you'll be having difficulties with your budget and she'll be like; "don't be too hard on yourself Baby. I got your back". Now that's comforting. And the moment you can do exactly this thing for her. Greatest achievement ever. :)

13. You got your heart; broken, shattered, open. The moment when all you want to do is to close yourself to your room and she'll be there with you. Until you fall asleep, until you tell her "It's ok Mom, I can handle this better now".

14. You met someone you like and it's exciting and frightening at the same time and she'll be telling you to just "enjoy the moment and be responsible". Or something like, "let's invite him for dinner". How cool is that! :)

And you know that list can go on and on and on.

But the most beautiful thing about living with her is well,

because you absolutely, with no doubts, love spending time with one of the most wonderful people in the world.

How can I be so blessed?

Thank you, Lord.

I love you Mama! ❤️
